[Objective] To research the effects of soil improvement and planting pattern on the yield of RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE. [Method] Lime and organic fertilizer were used to improve the soil. After sowing in the improved soil by drill seeding and broadcast sowing, the yields of RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE were calculated. And the effects of soil improvement and planting pattern on RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE yield were researched. [Result] Both soil improvement and planting pattern had certain impacts on the yield of RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE. Among them, RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE by drill seeding in improved soil of quicklime + organic fertilizer had the highest yield. [Conclusion] Applying quicklime and organic fertilizer in the soil and adopting drill seeding could significantly enhance the yield of RADIX PSEUDOSTELLARIAE.

[Objective] To study the effects of stem height on the output and soil moisture content of H. polybotrys. [Method] Effects of stem height on the output and soil moisture content of Hedysarum polybotrys in the plateau area of southern Gansu Province were studied by single-factor randomized block method. [Result] Stems were cut before flower bud appearance in early July. H. polybotrys with 50 cm stem height had the highest water use efficiency, the maximum output, main root length, root diameter, and fresh weight per plant. The output of H. polybotrys with 50 cm stem height enhanced by 30.86% compared with that of the plants in CK. [Conclusion] H. polybotrys with 50 cm stem height was relatively ideal, which could save water consumption and enhance the output.

[Objective] To study the effects of salt stress on seed germination and seedling physiological characteristics of Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat. [Method] G. inflata seeds were respectively treated by different concentrations of 0, 50, 100, 200, 300 mmol/L NaCl, 0, 50, 100, 200, 300 mmol/L Na2SO4, and 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 mmol/L NaHCO3. [Result] There were significant differences in the germination rate, vitality index and germination index of seeds among different salt stresses. The order of salt stress impact from strong to weak on seed germination was NaHCO3 >Na2SO4 > NaCl. Under the salt stress, the contents of praline (Pro), malondialdehyde (MDA) and soluble protein in the cotyledon and radicle were increased with the increasing of salt concentration, the enzyme activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in cotyledons were reduced with increasing salt concentration, but the radicles were firstly increased then decreased. [Conclusion] Three kinds of salt stresses all have significant effects on the seed germination and seedling physiological characteristics of G. inflata.

This study aimed to study the flowering habit, out-crossing index (OCI), pollen-ovule ratio (P/O), pollen viability, stigma receptivity, pollination biology, pollination and foraging insects of artificially cultivated Corydalis yanhusuo W.T.Wang population. As a result, the OCI was 3 according to Dafni method, which indicated that C. yanhusuo belonged to a self-compatible breeding system that sometimes needed pollinators. The P/O ratio was from 31.9 to 396.0, by which C. yanhusuo was judged to be a self-pollination-dominated breeding system based upon Cruden standard (1977). Cultivated populations of C. yanhusuo blossomed heavily at the end of March, the flowering time of which was short, about 15 days. Pollen viability first elevated then declined along with the time, and reached the highest on fifth day. Stigmas receptivity were sensitive at the whole flower phase, it was the highest on the sixth day and declined afterward. Accidentally, one or two honeybees or butterflies would visit the flowers of C. yanhusuo for 5 to 16 s every day. From this, it could be seen that the visiting frequency of foraging insects to C. yanhusuo flowers was very low in the wild state.

[Objective] To research the antibacterial activity of water extracts from RADIX FICI HIRTAE on the food-induced pathogenic bacteria, and to compared with the traditional antibacterial methods. [Method] With RADIX FICI HIRTAE as the materials, antibacterial activity of water extracts from RADIX FICI HIRTAE was researched by chromotest microassay, filter paper dispersion method and doubling dilution method. [Result] The optimal condition of methylthiazol tetrazoliam (MTT) method was 1×105-1×106 CFU/ml initial concentration of bacterial solution, and 0.5 mg/ml final concentration of MTT. Under this condition, water extracts of RADIX FICI HIRTAE showed antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli. and Staphylococcus aureus; and the minimal inhibitory concentrations were 11.21 and 14.07 mg/ml, respectively. Results of filter paper dispersion method and doubling dilution method showed that water extracts of RADIX FICI HIRTAE had antibacterial activity. [Conclusion] Compared with the traditional antibacterial methods, MTT method had the advantages of high sensitivity, which was more suitable for the antibacterial activity detection of plant extracts with deep color.

[Objective] To establish an HPLC-ELSD method for the determination of four ginkgolides (including ginkgolide A, ginkgolide B, ginkgolide C and bilobalide) in Ginkgo boliba L. leaves from Three Gorges Reservoir Areas of Chongqing City. [Method] HPLC analysis for separation of four ginkgolides was performed on the chromatographic column ODS-C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) with mobile phase consisting of methanol-tetrahydrofuran-water (V/V/V, 25∶ 5∶ 70) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min and column temperature at 30 ℃. And the detection was carried out with ELSD detector. Content of four ginkgolides was measured with the external standard method. [Result] The liner range of ginkgolide A, ginkgolide B, ginkgolide C and bilobalide was 1.53-19.30 μg/ml (r=0.999 5), 1.31-17.42 μg/ml (r=0.999 3), 1.49-17.45 μg/ml (r=0.999 8) and 2.07-19.86 μg/ml (r=0.999 0) respectively; the average recovery rate was 98.23%, 99.04%, 97.52% and 98.67%; RSD was 4.3%, 3.9%, 4.1% and 3.7% (n=6). [Conclusion] It is proved that the method with HPLC-ELSD is reliable, simple, well separated and precise, which can be used for quantitative analysis of ginkgolides in G. boliba leaves.

[Objective] To discuss the intervention effects of Sophora japonica quercetin on the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell CNE2. [Method] Quercetin was extracted from S. japonica and then purified by microwave-assisted extraction. Quercetin was used to interfere human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell CNE2 with the concentrations of 20, 40, 60 and 80 μmol/L. After 24, 48 and 72 h, the inhibitory situation of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell CNE2 was preliminarily detected by MTT method. Cell cycle and apoptosis rate were analyzed by flow cytometry; and morphological changes were observed by optical microscope. [Result] Quercetin extracted from S. japonica had significantly inhibitory effects on the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell, and showed obvious concentration and time dependent manners. The optimal concentration of drug intervention was 60 μmol/L. After drug intervention, the optimal morphological observation time was 48 h. Cell cycle analysis showed that quercetin was able to block nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell at G1 period. [Conclusion] Quercetin was extracted from S. japonica had intervention effects on human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell.

With the young leaves of L. spicata as the materials, conditions for the callus induction and differentiation, the adventitious bud differentiation and rooting, and the transplanting and field planting of tube seedlings were studied. Clone technology for the young leaves of L. spicata was established. Results showed that MS + 0.4 mg/L 6-BA + 1.0 mg/L NAA + 1.5 mg/L 2,4-D was the ideal culture medium for callus induction from young leaves of L. spicata; 1/2 MS + 1.2 mg/L AgNO3 + 0.5 mg/L BA + 0.1 mg/L NAA was the ideal culture medium for the callus and adventitious bud differentiation; and 1/2 MS+0.2 mg/L IAA +0.1 mg/L NAA was the ideal culture medium for the rooting of adventitious buds of L. spicata. Tube seedlings of L. spicata had the characteristics of vigorous growth status and developed root system, while other biological characteristics of tube seedlings stayed the same.

[Objective] To study the antioxidant effects of Tricholoma matsutake extracting solution on aging mice induced by D-galactose. [Method] A total of 50 mice were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, low-dosage group, middle-dosage group, and high-dosage group. Aging mice were induced by D-galactose and they were killed after six weeks. The SOD activity, GSH-Px activity and MDA content in mice serum, brain and liver were detected. [Result] T. matsutake extracting solution could significantly enhance the SOD activity and GSH-Px activity in mice serum, brain and liver, and reduce the MDA content. And they were in a dose-dependent manner. [Conclusion] T. matsutake extracting solution had certain anti-aging effects, and the mechanism might have certain relationship with the antioxidation.

[Objective] To establish a convenient and accurate method for the content determination of polysaccharides from RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE. [Method] Extraction process of RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE polysaccharides was optimized by orthogonal test. The total saccharide content, uronic acid content and protein content were detected by phenol-sulfuric acid method, m-hydroxydiphenyl method, and Coomassie Brilliant blue method, respectively. [Result] The optimal extraction condition was A2B2C3, which were 70 ℃ extraction temperature, 2.5 h extraction time, and 3 extraction times. Under this condition, the extraction rate of polysaccharides reached 13.15%. Saccharide contents in different groups of RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE polysaccharides were 65.8%, 84.6% and 87.3%; protein contents were 2.9%, 0.28% and 2.7%; and uronic acid contents were 29.7%, 26.3% and 39.6%. [Conclusion] This method was rapid, simple, accurate, and sensitive, and could be used for the quality control of RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE polysaccharides.

[Objective] To establish a quantitative method for determination of quercetin content in Eriocaulon buergerianum,and determine the content of quercetin in E.buergerianum from different growing areas.[Method] High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) coupled with four-channel UV-visible detector was used,C18 chromatographic column,mobile phase is the buffer solution of methanol and phosphoric acid(0.6%),the volume ratio of methanol and phosphoric acid(0.6%) was 52:48.Qualitative evaluation was done by retention time and four-channel UV spectrum at the same time,and the detection wavelength were 254,360,365,370 nm.Quantitative evaluation had done at the best sensitive wave of 254 nm.[Result] The linearity of quercetin was in the range of 5-30 μg/ml(r=0.999 8),the average recovery was 99.56%,the RSD was 2.30%.The content of quercetin in samples from different growing areas was in the range of 29.5 to 92.5 μg/ml.[Conclusion] The method is reliable,stable,feasible,and suitable for determination of quercetin content in E.buergerianum.Samples from different growing areas vary greatly in the content of quercetin.

[Objective] To protect the wild resources of Anemarrhena asphodeloides and to meet the market demands for A.asphodeloides seedlings.[Method] With A.asphodeloides rhizomes as the explants,growth point germination,bud differentiation,tube seedlings rooting,and seedlings transplanting were conducted on based tissue culture technology.[Result] White+6-BA 0.1 mg/L+IAA 0.3 mg/L was the ideal culture medium for the growth point germination of A.asphodeloides rhizomes;MS+(1.0-1.5) mg/L 6-BA+0.2 mg/L NAA was the ideal culture medium for the differentiation of germinated buds;and 1/2 MS+0.1 mg/L NAA+(0.2-0.3) mg/L IAA was the ideal culture medium for the rooting of differentiated buds.[Conclusion] Asexual micro-propagation system of A.asphodeloides was successfully established.The transplanted tube seedlings had good growth vigor and were in the same growth speed.

[Objective] To compare the chemical components of volatile oil from small leaves Ku-Ding-Cha which belonged to the family Oleaceae.[Method] Volatile oils from small leaves Ku-Ding-Cha in different production areas were extracted by the steam distillation method;then,the components of volatile oils were analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GC-MS).[Result] A total of 55 compounds were identified.There were great similarities in the old leaves and buds of Ku-Ding-Cha in different batches.Linalool had the highest content(48.34%-79.25%);α-terpineol,geraniol and nerol had relatively high content.[Conclusion] This research provided scientific references for the quality control and reasonable utilization of the small leaves Ku-Ding-Cha.

[Objective] To analyze the chemical constituents of essential oils from Firmiana platanifolia(L.F) and provide reference for comprehensive utilization of F.platanifolia resources.[Method] By using steam distillation and organic solvent method,essential oils were extracted,and its chemical constituents were analyzed by capillary GC-MS.[Result] A total of 60 kinds of compounds were identified,accounting for 96.78% of the total amount of essential oils.The F.platanifolia essential oils were expected to be the raw materials of some drugs and fine chemicals.[Conclusion] The method is simple and rapid,which is suitable for studying chemical constituents of F.platanifolia.

[Objective] To optimize the extraction technology of essential oil from Thuja occidentalis L.[Method] The methods of salting-out and steam distillation were adopted to study the extraction technology and inspect the effect of NaCl concentration,liquid-solid ratio,soaking time and distillation time on the extraction rate of essential oil.[Result] The optimum extraction conditions were:4% NaCl,1:15(g/ml) solid-liquid ratio,6 h soaking time and 3 h distillation time.Under these conditions,the extraction rate was the highest(1.80%).[Conclusion] The method is simple and reliable,which is applicable for industrial production.

[Objective] To optimize the extraction technology of magnolol and honokiol from the leaf of Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.[Method] Taking the extraction rate of magnolol and honokiol as evaluation index,the extraction technology of magnolol and honokiol from M.officinalis leaves was optimized by means of orthogonal test.[Result] The optimal extraction technology was as follows:M.officinalis leaves were extracted once with 80% ethanol at the solid-liquid ratio of 1:10(g/ml) for 1.5 h.[Conclusion] The extraction technology is reasonable and effective to extract effective components including magnolol and honokiol from M.officinalis leaves.

[Objective] To compare the dissolution content of chlorogenic acid and microscopic characteristics of FLOS LONICERAE JAPONICAE before and after ultramicro pulverizing.[Method] The content of chlorogenic acid in the ultramicro powder and common powder of FLOS LONICERAE JAPONICAE prepared with different times was determined by HPLC.Microscopic characteristics of the two sorts of powder were surveyed by biological microscope.[Result] The dissolution content and dissolution rate of chlorogenic acid in the powder increased significantly after ultramicro pulverizing.Compared with common powder,the ultramicro powder particles were more uniform in shapes and nearly no completed cells were observed.[Conclusion] Ultramicro pulverizing procedure can benefit the dissolution content of chlorogenic acid and significantly improve the wall-broken rate of plant cells.

[Objective] To optimize the extraction technology of total flavonoids from traditional Chinese medicine Lespedeza virgata(Thunb.) DC.[Method] The extraction technology of total flavonoids from L.virgata was optimized by means of single factor test and orthogonal test.The content of total flavonoids was determined by UV spectrophotometer.[Result] The optimum conditions of extraction were established as follows:40% ethanol,material-solvent ratio 1:8(g/ml) and extracting time 1 h.Under these conditions,the content of total flavonoids was as high as 3.62%.[Conclusion] This extraction technology was low-cost and efficient.

[Objective] To research the antioxidation effects of Lycopus lucidus polysaccharides(LLP) on aged mice induced by D-galactose.[Method] A total of 50 Kunming mice were randomly divided into 5 groups.Except for the normal control group,mice in other groups were given 80 mg/kg D-galactose by subcutaneous injection at the neck back for 42 d,so as to establish the sub-acute aged model.At the same time of D-galactose injection,mice in experimental groups were given 300,200 and 100 mg/kg LLP by gavage;and mice in normal control group and model group were given the same volume of normal saline by gavage.After 12 h of the final medication,mice serum and liver tissues were separated;and aging related biochemistry indexes were detected.[Result] LLP had antagonism effects on the mice aging induced by D-galactose,significantly enhanced the SOD and GSH-Px activities in mice serum and liver tissues,and reduced the MDA content.[Conclusion] LLP may have certain anti-oxidation and anti-aging effects.

[Objective] To compare the chemical components of essential oils extracted from Cymbopogon citratus(DC.) Stapf.by different methods.[Method] The essential oils were extracted by supercritical CO2 fluid extraction(SFE-CO2) and steam distillation(SD).The qualitative and quantitative analyses were made on the chemical components of essential oils by GC-MS.[Result] A total of 31 chemical components were identified from Cymbopogon citratus(DC.) Stapf.by supercritical CO2 fluid extraction,accounting for more than 91% of essential oils.There were 17 chemical components from C.citratus by steam distillation that occupied over 94% of essential oils.The essential oils extracted from C.citrates by 2 methods varied greatly in chemical components and content.Of these,the content of geranial and citral was the highest.[Conclusion] The essential oils got by SFE-CO2 method can reflect the chemical components of the medicinal materials more accurately and more comprehensively.

[Objective] To analyze and evaluate the quality of Gastrodia elata BI.planted under the forest of Qiyao Mountain of Chongqing City.[Method] According to the standards in Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China,the moisture content,total ash content,and extracts content of RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE were detected by microscope and thin layer identification.At the same time,the gastrodin content was detected by high performance liquid chromatography.And the quality of RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE was evaluated.[Result] A small amount of needle-like calcium oxalate crystal was detected in sample powder.The moisture content was 8.90%;total ash content was 3.81%;extracts content was 15.49%,which all accorded with the standards in Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China.The gastrodin content in RHIZOMA GASTRODIAE crude products was 0.162%;after steaming,the gastrodin content reached 0.534%.[Conclusion] Gastrodin content after steaming in Qiyao Mountain of Chongqing City accorded with the standards in Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China.

[Objective] To explore the effects of ethanol concentration on the extraction rate of gentiopicroside in RADIX GENTIANAE MACROPHYLLAE in Ningxia Liupan Mountain of China.[Method] Gentiopicroside content was detected in RADIX GENTIANAE MACROPHYLLAE by HPLC at room temperature.Effects of 45%,55%,65% and 75% ethanol on the extraction rate of gentiopicroside from RADIX GENTIANAE MACROPHYLLAE were compared.[Result] Extraction rates of gentiopicroside by 45%,55%,65% and 75% ethanol were 12.50%,13.26%,14.53% and 14.42%,respectively.When the ethanol concentration was 65%,extraction rate of gentiopicrosides from RADIX GENTIANAE MACROPHYLLAE was the highest.[Conclusion] Ethanol concentration had significant effects on the extraction rate of gentiopicrosides from RADIX GENTIANAE MACROPHYLLAE Ningxia Liupan Mountain of China.And 65% ethanol had the highest extraction rate.

[Objective] To discuss the effect of cadmium concentration on the plant growth and the cadmium absorption and accumulation of Ocimum basilicum.[Method] With O.basilicum as the plant materials,effects of cadmium concentration on the plant growth,cadmium accumulation,soluble sugar content,total N,P and K contents were studied on the basis of Hoagland nutrition.[Result] Low cadmium concentration(1 mg/L) promoted the plant growth,and the fresh weight and dry weight of aboveground part;but high cadmium concentration(5 and 10 mg/L) inhibited the plant growth,the fresh weight and dry weight of aboveground and underground parts.With the increase of cadmium concentration,chlorophyll content in O.basilicum leaves gradually reduced,and was lower than that in CK;but the soluble sugar content of aboveground part gradually enhanced and was higher than that in CK.Soluble sugar content of underground part in cadmium treatment was significantly lower than that in CK;the total N,P and K contents of aboveground part were higher than those of underground part.With the increase of cadmium concentration,cadmium accumulation in O.basilicum enhanced.[Conclusion] O.basilicum was a potential aromatic plant having highly accumulated cadmium,and it could be used for the phytoremediation in cadmium polluted soil.

[Objective] To analyze the quality of tetraploid and diploid of Stachys sieboldii Miq.[Method] The diploid materials and tetraploid materials induced from colchicine-treated diploid were cultivated in the same environmental condition.Then,three important quality indicators including dry matter content,soluble protein content and soluble sugar content of S.sieboldii were analyzed.[Result] The dry matter content,soluble protein content and soluble sugar content increased 43.16%,9.46% and 21.74%,respectively in the tetraploid leaf than that in the diploid one;while they increased 13.12%,21.89% and 7.42%,respectively in the tetraploid tuber than that in the diploid one.[Conclusion] The tetraploid is superior to the diploid in S.sieboldii as for the economic value due to containing more nutritional components.

[Objective] To optimize the extraction conditions for the ultrasonic extraction of alkaloids from NIGHTSHADE.[Method] Based on single factor test,the extraction time,extraction temperature and solid-liquid ratio were selected as the independent variables.With the extraction rate of alkaloids as the response value,central composite design was adopted to research on the effects of independent variables and their overlapping effects on the extraction rate of alkaloids.Predictive function of quadratic regression equation was obtained by response surface method.And the optimal extraction condition for alkaloids from NIGHTSHADE was obtained.[Result] The optimal extraction condition was as follows:53 min extraction time,65 ℃ extraction temperature,1:20(g/ml) solid-liquid ratio,and 2 extraction times.Under this condition,the extraction rate of alkaloids from NIGHTSHADE reached 0.308%.[Conclusion] The optimal extraction condition for alkaloids from NIGHTSHADE was obtained,which provided references for the further development and utilization of NIGHTSHADE.

[Objective] To research the optimal extraction technology of polysaccharides from Dioscorea opposite "Qi".[Method] Based single factor test and L25(56) orthogonal test,effects of four factors on the extraction rate of polysaccharides from D.opposite "Qi" were studied by water extraction method,which were extraction temperature,solid-liquid ratio,pH value,and volume ratio of concentrated solution to ethanol.[Result] Extraction temperature had the most significant effects on the extraction rate of polysaccharides.The optimal extraction technology of polysaccharides from D.opposita "Qi" was as follows:7.0 pH value,90 ℃ extraction temperature,1:12(g/ml) solid-liquid ratio,and 1:4 volume ratio of concentrated solution to ethanol.Under this condition,the extraction rate of polysaccharides from D.opposita "Qi" reached as high as 6.93%.[Conclusion] This method had the high extraction rate,was convenient and safe and could be used for the industrial development of polysaccharides in D.opposita "Qi".

[Objective] To optimize the supercritical CO2 process parameters of essential oils from the needles of Pinus massoniana Lamb and to identify the chemical constituents of essential oils.[Method] Taking the yield of essential oils as an index,the proper factors and levels were chosen through the preliminary test,and the interaction between factors was observed by orthogonal test.Moreover,GC-MS analysis was used to identify the chemical constituents of essential oils.[Result] The optimized technology of supercritical CO2 extraction of essential oils from P.massoniana needles was extraction pressure 18 MPa,extraction temperature 40 ℃,CO2 flow 25 L/h,and pressure of separation kettle 8 MPa.The yield of essential oils was as much as 0.163% using the optimized process parameters.The main chemical constituents of essential oils were α-pinene,β-pinene,and carypohyllene with content more than 50%.[Conclusion] This method can screen out the supercritical CO2 process parameters of essential oils from P.massoniana needles.It can provide basis for development and utilization of essential oils from P.massoniana needles.

Polysaccharides are active constituents of Ganoderma lucidum to strengthen the body resistance and consolidate the constitution,which are polymers of monosaccharides with remarkable physiological activities,such as hardening radiation,improving the ability of bone marrow,liver,blood to synthesize DNA and RNA,accelerating the blood microcirculation,enhancing the oxygen supply function of blood,scavenging free radicals inside human body,reducing the invalid oxygen supply of human body at rest,and increasing the blocking degree of cell membrane.Besides,polysaccharides can activate the T cell,B cell and monocyte-macrophage system,which enhance the immunity and anti-tumor activity of the organism.They have abroad development prospects in food and health care industry.The research advance in pharmacological action of polysaccharides is summarized in this paper,which is aimed at providing basis for further development and study of this resource.

In order to seek high-efficient,practical and simple grafting methods,to establish scientific and effective technology system of raising seedlings by grafting,and to achieve the intensive cultivation of Magnolia liliflora Desr.,the grafting techniques of M.liliflora were studied through experiments,including cleft grafting,tongue grafting,single-bud side grafting,shoot side grafting,and bud slice side grafting.The results showed that the survival rate of M.liliflora was significantly impacted by different grafting methods.Of these,the survival rate of single-bud side grafting was the highest(95.5%),followed by cleft grafting(81.7%),and the least by tongue grafting(1.5%).Thus,single-bud side grafting and cleft grafting were mainly used for M.liliflora.In Beichuan District,there was also a significant difference in the survival rate of M.liliflora from different grafting times.During the dormancy of M.liliflora,in September,the survival rate was the highest(96.5%),followed by October(91.3%) and February(85.4%).The scion types had evident effect on the survival rate of seedlings.The survival rate could reach 97.1% in single-bud grafting with central full bud as a scion,81.6% in shoot side grafting with terminal bud of shoot as a scion,and 87.1% in cleft grafting with central full bud as a scion.Weak buds on the lower part of shoots were not suitable to be used as grafts.Generally,grafted M.liliflora started to blossom 3 years later.After 5 years,each plant could have a maximum of 66 flowers,the fresh weight of which was up to 354.8 g.Compared with seedlings,grafted seedlings could reduce the startup time by more than 10 years.

[Objective] To analyze the chemical composition of the essential oils obtained from leaves of A.annua from Gansu Province of China.[Method] Essentials oils were extracted by the steam distillation and their chemical composition were analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GC-MS).[Result] Twenty-seven compounds were identified from the leaf oil.Among of them,cedr-8-en-13-ol(17.77%),eudesma-4(14),11-diene(17.68%),torreyol(4.63%),β-farnesene(4.30%),caryophyllene(3.03%),borneol(2.88%),caryophyllene oxide(2.83%),ledol(2.72%) and camphor(2.39%) were found to be the major constituent of the oils.[Conclusion] It's worth noting that cedr-8-en-13-ol and eudesma-4(14),11-diene have few reported in essential oil of the other origin A.annua.
